This collective effort began with a comprehensive diagnosis of the sector's needs across Europe, accurately identifying skills gaps and the pressing challenges surrounding digitalization and environmental protection.
To effectively address these needs, the project launched its official website alongside a dynamic Transnational Collaboration Platform. This digital hub brings together schools, students, enterprises, and research institutions, offering unique networking opportunities and a dedicated space for matching skills and finding apprenticeships.
At the heart of the initiative was the creation of five primary educational tools. The consortium developed specialized training materials tailored specifically for educators, students, and professional organizations, alongside the publication of a comprehensive textbook dedicated to teaching sustainability within the sector.
Theoretical knowledge was directly transferred to the real world through national project-based learning schemes, where 20 VET learners completed three-month practical internships in local businesses. Concurrently, 120 participants traveled to Spain and Germany, taking part in engaging study visits that significantly broadened their professional horizons and provided hands-on experience.
To champion change at an institutional level, four detailed policy reports were drafted and delivered to relevant governmental stakeholders. These actionable documents propose practical solutions for closing labor market skill gaps, implementing reforms that support sustainability, and boosting green entrepreneurship.
The message and the impactful results of FEA-VEE traveled far and wide through an active social media presence, the circulation of eight biannual newsletters, and the production of four video clips and a short documentary. This outstanding success was celebrated across 12 open Multiplier Events that far exceeded attendance expectations. Ultimately, all this valuable educational material and the digital platforms will remain freely accessible online, leaving a lasting, green legacy for the future of fashion.
