This year’s awarded designers impressed not only with aesthetics and originality – they also demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable fashion. The awarded collections reflected a modern vision of responsible creativity, showcasing the key sustainability principles actively promoted by Ruse Fashion Week:

Ethical Local Production
Many of the awarded participants rely on ethical local production, which supports the local economy and ensures supply chain transparency. Choosing small ateliers contributes to better working conditions and a lower carbon footprint.

Slow Fashion
Many of the recognized designers focused on high-quality, durable garments with clean silhouettes and classic lines – a true embodiment of the slow fashion philosophy. They presented clothes that stand the test of time, not only through their fabrics but also through their aesthetic value.

Made-to-Order Production
A personalized approach to the customer was also a key focus of the awarded projects. Made-to-order models reduce excess and encourage conscious consumption – a strategy that fosters a lasting connection between the customer and the garment.

Creativity with a Cause
The jury honored collections that combine a high level of artistry with ecologically and socially responsible solutions. Through innovative forms and materials, designers proved that sustainability does not limit creativity – on the contrary, it inspires it.

Eco-friendly Materials
The use of organic cotton, recycled textiles, and biodegradable fabrics was a leading theme in the work of many of the recognized participants. These materials not only protect the environment but also offer new opportunities for experimentation with texture and structure.

Education and Awareness
The awards also honored efforts to inform and inspire the public. Designers used their platforms to educate consumers about responsible consumption and the environmental impact of the fashion industry.

The brands Ivan Donev, Banderol, Axel Hardy, Charlino, Benmodel, Vayana, Bulammas Made-to-measure were also recognized for their international success.
